Description
For almost 60 years, CoopeTarrazú has been amongst the premier specialty coffee cooperatives in Costa Rica. Year in and year out, their coffees are some of the finest processed coffees, standing out as clean, crisp, and always enjoyable.
It is not, however, strictly the coffee that makes this cooperative so special. In addition to its excellent coffee, CoopeTarrazú provides its nearly 5,000 members and their families with a host of additional educational resources and opportunities. They offer workshops that focus on the development of the individual, regardless of their background, and tailored to their interests and strengths. They offer finance classes that cover business management practices and additionally a variety of resources for family and home management. Moreover, they sponsor young people from the community and from member families to develop leadership skills and to gain important skills to tackle today’s challenges in the coffee-growing environment.
